1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Hourli.ME ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including contractors, consultants, and any individuals or businesses using the platform.

2. Beta Disclaimer

Hourli.ME is currently in Beta. This means:

• The Service is provided "as is" without any guarantees of uptime, availability, or data permanence.
• Features may change, be added, or be removed without notice.
• While we take data security seriously, Beta software may contain bugs or errors.
• We recommend regularly exporting your data using the built-in backup function as a precaution.

3. Description of Service

Hourli.ME is a time tracking application designed for independent contractors and consultants. The Service allows users to track billable hours, manage clients and projects, and generate invoices. The Service is hosted on Google Firebase infrastructure.

4. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account using a valid email address or Google account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the Service to track time fraudulently or misrepresent hours to clients.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code.

6. Your Data

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into Hourli.ME, including client information, session data, and invoices. We do not claim any ownership over your data. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you enter.

You can export your data at any time using the Backup function in Settings. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the address below.

7. Intellectual Property

The Hourli.ME name, logo, design, and underlying software are the intellectual property of Matthew Vernon. You may not use our branding or reproduce the Service without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Matthew Vernon and Hourli.ME shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of business, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Service Availability

We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. We may suspend or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice. During the Beta period, no uptime guarantees are provided.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by signing out and requesting account deletion. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Kootenai County, Idaho.
