Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Hourli.ME. By creating an account or using the application, you agree to be bound by these terms.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Hourli.ME ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Hourli.ME web application available at hourli.me (the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal authority to enter into these Terms, and agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Hourli.ME is a time tracking and invoicing application designed for independent contractors, freelancers, and consultants. The Service provides the following core functionality:
To access the Service, you must create an account using either a Google account or a valid email address and password. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and to keep your account information updated.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account.
Accounts created with an email address and password require email verification before access is granted. You agree to provide a valid email address and to complete the verification process.
You may only maintain one active account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or limitations is prohibited.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
You retain full ownership of all data you input into the Service, including time records, client information, session notes, and business profile information ("User Data"). We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your User Data.
By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit your User Data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This license terminates when you delete your account.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of your User Data, including any invoices generated using the Service. We are not responsible for errors in invoices or records that result from incorrect data you provide.
You may export your data at any time using the built-in backup and CSV export features. We encourage you to maintain regular backups of your data.
Important: Hourli.ME is a productivity tool, not a licensed financial services provider. Invoices generated by the Service are provided as a convenience. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and compliance of invoices with applicable tax and business laws in your jurisdiction.

Operator: Subscription billing for Hourli.ME is operated by Krono Holdings LLC, an Idaho limited liability company. By purchasing a subscription, you are entering into a billing agreement with Krono Holdings LLC.
Hourli.ME offers the following subscription tiers:
Feature availability per plan is described within the application and may be updated with reasonable notice. Krono Holdings LLC reserves the right to modify plan pricing with no less than thirty (30) days' prior written notice to your registered email address.
New accounts are eligible for one (1) free trial period. The trial period begins upon account creation and expires after thirty (30) days or upon upgrade to a paid plan, whichever occurs first. Trial accounts are subject to feature and usage limitations as defined within the application. Upon expiration of the trial period, continued access to paid features requires purchase of a subscription plan. Trial periods are non-transferable and may not be extended.
All subscription fees are billed in advance at the start of each billing period. By subscribing, you authorize Krono Holdings LLC to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as applicable) until you cancel your subscription.
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"), a third-party payment processor. Your payment information is transmitted directly to and stored by Stripe in accordance with their Privacy Policy and PCI-DSS compliance standards. Krono Holdings LLC does not receive, store, or process your payment card details directly.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled prior to the renewal date. You will receive a payment receipt to your registered email address following each successful charge.
You may cancel a monthly subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal accessible within the application under Subscription > Manage Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refund or credit will be issued for the unused portion of the current billing period. You will retain full access to your plan's features until the end of the paid period, after which your account will revert to trial-tier limitations.
Annual subscriptions are pre-paid in full for a twelve (12) month period. You may cancel an annual subscription at any time to prevent automatic renewal at the end of the annual term. Cancellation of an annual subscription does not entitle you to a refund of any portion of the pre-paid annual fee, whether partial or pro-rated. You will retain full Pro-tier access for the remainder of the paid annual period.
Upon expiration of the annual term following cancellation, your account will revert to trial-tier limitations unless a new subscription is purchased.
ALL SUBSCRIPTION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. By completing a subscription purchase, you acknowledge and agree that all sales are final. No refunds, credits, or pro-rated adjustments will be issued for:
Exceptions: Refunds may be issued solely at the discretion of Krono Holdings LLC in the following limited circumstances: (a) you were charged in error due to a verifiable billing system error; or (b) a refund is required by applicable law in your jurisdiction. To request a refund under these exceptions, contact us at support@hourli.me within seven (7) days of the disputed charge with documentation supporting your request.
If a payment fails, we will notify you via your registered email address. Continued access to paid features may be suspended until payment is successfully processed. You are responsible for ensuring your payment method remains valid and up to date. Krono Holdings LLC is not liable for any interruption to your Service access resulting from a failed payment.
You may upgrade your subscription plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, and you will be charged a pro-rated amount for the remainder of the current billing period at the new plan rate. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial-period refund is issued for the difference in plan cost.
Users on the Basic plan who process invoice payments through Hourli.ME's Stripe Connect integration are subject to a platform application fee of one percent (1%) of the gross invoice amount, collected at the time of payment transfer. This fee is separate from and in addition to Stripe's standard payment processing fees (which apply to all plans and are not charged by Krono Holdings LLC). The platform application fee is waived for Pro and Pro Annual subscribers. Platform application fees are non-refundable.
Independent contractors who enable invoice payment functionality through the Service must create a Stripe Express connected account. By doing so, you agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement and authorize Krono Holdings LLC to facilitate payment transfers to your connected account. Stripe is solely responsible for processing, holding, and disbursing funds. Krono Holdings LLC is not a money services business, payment processor, or licensed financial institution and assumes no liability for payment disputes, chargebacks, holds, or delays imposed by Stripe.
Subscription fees are exclusive of any applicable sales tax, value-added tax, or other similar taxes. Where required by law, applicable taxes will be calculated and added to your subscription fee at checkout. You are responsible for all taxes associated with your subscription in your jurisdiction.
The Service includes a "Tax Assistant" feature designed to help independent contractors and self-employed individuals estimate their federal and state income tax obligations based on publicly available 2025 tax rates. The Tax Assistant calculates estimates based on data you provide, including gross income from invoices logged through the feature, your filing status, deduction type, and state of residence.
THE TAX ASSISTANT IS AN ESTIMATION TOOL ONLY. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE TAX ADVICE, LEGAL ADVICE, OR PROFESSIONAL FINANCIAL GUIDANCE OF ANY KIND. HOURLI.ME IS NOT A LICENSED TAX PROFESSIONAL, CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT (CPA), ENROLLED AGENT, OR FINANCIAL ADVISOR. YOU SHOULD NOT RELY ON ANY ESTIMATE PROVIDED BY THE TAX ASSISTANT AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR ADVICE FROM A QUALIFIED TAX PROFESSIONAL.

Before accessing the Tax Assistant, you are required to review and accept a separate in-app disclaimer acknowledging the limitations of the tool. This acceptance is stored permanently to your Hourli.ME account. By accepting that disclaimer, you confirm that you understand the tool's estimates are not a substitute for professional tax advice.
Income entries, invoice records, filing status, and other settings you provide within the Tax Assistant are stored in a dedicated data record separate from your time tracking sessions and archived records. This data is not affected by clearing, archiving, or deleting your time tracking sessions. Tax data is retained and deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Section 11 of these Terms.
We make reasonable efforts to maintain current federal and state tax rates and brackets within the Tax Assistant. However, tax laws are subject to change at any time, and we make no warranty that the rates reflected in the tool are current, complete, or applicable to your specific tax situation. The Tax Assistant currently supports Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Utah, and Montana state income tax calculations. We are not responsible for tax obligations arising in states or jurisdictions not supported by the tool.
The Service includes the ability to send invoices via email to your clients. By using this feature, you agree to:
We reserve the right to suspend email functionality for accounts we determine are being used for spam or abusive purposes.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
The Service, including its design, branding, code, features, and content (excluding User Data), is owned by Hourli.ME and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The Hourli.ME name, logo, and "TIME. TRACKED. SIMPLE." tagline are proprietary to us.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or its content without our prior written permission.
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to:
We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes or planned downtime.
You may delete your account at any time using the Erase Account feature within the application. Upon deletion, all your User Data will be permanently removed from our systems and cannot be recovered. We recommend exporting your data before deleting your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately without notice if we determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in abusive or illegal conduct, or if continued access poses a risk to the Service or other users.
Upon termination, your right to access and use the Service immediately ceases. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.
We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information generated by the Service, including invoice calculations or time summaries.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Hourli.ME and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hourli.ME and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your User Data, or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Idaho, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If such negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Kootenai County, Idaho, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending an email notification to your registered email address.
Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must discontinue using the Service.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Hourli.ME regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
